The main purpose of this paper is to show the prominent use made in TV-anime production process of technologies such as motion capture, automated shadows, simulated camera movement and digital painting techniques. Digital tools that streamline the work of the artists to unimagined levels in a process of traditional animation and which has clearly transformed the animation in Japan and revived the production of this country.
